The Flyers will complete their weekend home and home series with the Rangers this afternoon before a national audience on NBC this afternoon at 12:30. The Rangers will be looking to keep their playoff hopes in good health with a win. The Flyers will be looking to make more distance between themselves and the rest of the pack.
Antero Niittymaki will be starting in net for the Flyers. It will be his first start since the Calgary game. I would imagine that he'll be ready to make up for that last outing where he gave up four goals in the first period. Its looking like John Tortorella will be starting Henrik Lundqvist again.
Both teams showed that they didn't really like each other yesterday, and I'd love to see Daniel Carcillo drop the gloves and get something going. He was very involved in the game yesterday and I imagine that he'll keep his intensity high again today.
Should be a great game at Madison Square Garden. Unfortunately, I won't be able to watch the game, but I have it taped. Keep your fingers crossed that it will actually record properly.
